Current Unit of Inquiry: Saving the Planet! Central idea:
Biodiversity relies on keeping the a balance between plants, animals and systems.
An Inquiry into:
The connection between living things within their natural habitat.
Our thoughts and actions towards the environment can change the way nature works.
Human responsibility for biodiversity of the planet.
Using
visual arts and poetry demonstrate your understanding of biodiversity and the
connection between living things and the environment.
Choose
an ecosystem to research and predict what might happen if one of the species
(plant or animal) in that system dies out. How will this affect the Dynamic
Equilibrium in other areas?
Your
visual presentation must express your thoughts and our responsibility towards the
environment.
We will host a poetry cafe at the school where
you will present/perform the action component of the SA. You must use poetry and a combination of the following: drama, visual arts, music, etc...
