Year 4 Weekly Plan
Literacy
This week we will be concentrating on prefixes and suffixes; consonants and vowels; adjectives, nouns, verbs and adverbs; revising homophones and looking at punctuation of speech. 
In shared reading the children will be reading about different artists .

Maths
In maths children will continue to work on mental subtraction strategies and we will be re-visiting written subtraction methods, including adjusting from hundreds, tens and units.

During our Unit of Inquiry we will begin to use and record using Voicethread
  •  Children will decide their preferred genre for expressing emotions
  •  They will complete a piece of work in their preferred style
  •  They will explain their choices and share their work.
